Challenge
It’s clear the pandemic changed the way we work. One industry impacted the most was airline corporate travel. As flights came to screeching halt, so did the PROS Corporate Sales solution sales pipeline.
As vaccines became available and travel restrictions lightened, the industry slowly began to recover. It was time to renew our focus on this corporate sales product airlines needed; a Saas solution with a quick implementation that can easily be added on to existing customer platforms.
Solution & My Role
Based on the product implementation, I wanted to employ account-based marketing techniques targeting existing customers. As the Creative Director, I worked to position the PROS Corporate Sales product as the preferred solution to increase and promote post-pandemic recovery within an airline’s corporate sales division.
Working with Industry Marketing Managers across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC, my team extracted key differentiators and developed a creative concept to get at the pain points of manual, outdated tasks faced each day by airline corporate sales teams.
My team created custom landing pages specific to each prospect. Working alongside Sales and Customer Service teams, we delivered assets directly to decision makers across 30+ top tier airlines and low cost carriers. Campaign materials were only visible only to select airline prospects and not made public on pros.com.
Results
Prospects within the pipeline received target messaging, tailored to their specific airline corporate sales needs. Several of the accounts targeted have purchased the corporate sales solution or are in the final stages of contract negotiations, increasing the Sales team’s win rate for the product by 12%. It is expected these numbers will increase as EMEA and APAC regions see higher levels of post-pandemic recovery and therefore an increase in demand for corporate travel.
